Infinite hope for children…

By Kenann McKenzie, Ph.D. July 28, 2020

“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope”.

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

There may be moments of disillusionment as we strive to uplift the lives of vulnerable children, however Martin Luther King Jr.’s admonition tells us that we must keep hope in the side of justice.  Wherever we can acknowledge the needs of children and work to ensure that is provided for, we move towards hope.  Whenever we are aware that children lack resources that they need to thrive and help to provide them, we move towards hope. Whenever we educate children by celebrating the assets they bring from their experiences and communities, we move towards hope. There are infinite ways to move towards hope for our children every day.  What steps can you take?
